Holy Mountain!

I bet you’re wondering when I would start my journey up the mountain. Well, have you ever reached a place that is exciting, new, and you stand there wondering what the future holds for you? That is how I felt.  I needed strength and faith to overcome my fears. Whether it was in my vision or in reality, my destiny was already written. I was about to learn and grow on this path of life, where God had called me.

How could I make it to the top?  Only by faith!  imageI searched the Bible to see what God’s word says about faith. It simply says that faith is obedience when we don’t understand, and being sure of what we cannot see.  In my search through the bible, I also learned about some courageous men who had strong faith. One of them was Noah.  He was a man who was obedient to God’s command, not just outwardly religious.  He was a righteous man who walked daily with God. Following God’s instructions, he built a large boat to save his family from the flood that was to come.  People thought that Noah was insane. Why would he need a boat on dry land in a place where it had not rained for many years?  But God warned him about things that had never happened before. Noah built the ark as an act of obedience.  Without questioning, he began.  Years long construction project which would someday save him and his family. There are many things God asks us to do which seems difficult, unreasonable, and even impossible. But God knows what’s best for us.  Noah is a perfect example of a life lived by faith, a blameless life. Noah’s faith encouraged me to put my trust in God, to move forward, even with my small, “mustard seed sized” faith.
(Matthew 17:20 ) says: “The Lord replied; ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. nothing will be impossible for you.”

We can learn lessons from the life of Noah. If we are right with God and right with others, we can find favor in the eyes of God just like Noah did. All we need to do is to call out to God with reverence and humility. As I looked up to Him, He answered me from His Holy place.

“I call out to the Lord, and He answers me from His holy mountain.”
( Psalm 3:4 )

As I earlier described, I was given a vision of climbing a mountain. I called this place a “Holy Mountain”, because God taught me many lessons on this climb.  Just as I stood on an enormous expanse of land, I saw a huge and high mountain before me. On top of the mountain was, what from a distance, appeared to be a small, white, bright house. Then something beautiful happened. An inner peace began growing and moving in me, helping me trust God more and urging me to come nearer to the high mountain. Trust requires faith! I so badly wanted to reach to the top of the mountain. I went and stood at the bottom of the mountain and looked up. I noticed that the road to the top was very steep and treacherous. I thought to myself, “I’m too weak and broken to endure such a climb.” Then I woke up, and I remembered a verse that I had just learned.
( Isaiah 41:10 )
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” I memorized the verse and it has helped and strengthened me.

Faith is a gift from God and a muscle which needs to be exercised. God has blessed me with the gift of visions and dreams. It was obvious He is calling me to live my life by faith, not by sight. Faith comes from reading God’s word and hearing God’s message.

Let’s meet here again to see what “Walk by faith, not by sight” means. In the meantime, I would love to hear your feedback.

Looking at The Light, Found Love!

image.jpeg

I am so glad to have you back where we left off, my dear readers. Let’s see how I found love, as I looked at the light.

Living in the light of God and reading His Word, I began seeing glimpses of His power and His love for me. As I began to put my trust in Him, He graciously answered my sometimes selfish prayers, thereby showing me that He hears me, He is with me and He has the power to do anything according to His will. God created us to be in a deep relationship with Him. And we can rely on him in all our circumstances, knowing that He will be with us every step of the way. Even when we are not sure what to do, we can wait for Him to open the way before us. This calls for putting our trust in the One who sees our next steps. The Lord has promised us that His light will go with us wherever we go and His presence will give us rest. That is called Love.
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is Love.” (1 John 4:8)

Since God loves us so much, he will never force us to do something that we are not ready to do. He gives us free wIll. It’s our choice to choose His way or our way. Love never pressures us to love Him. He wants us to choose His way willingly through faith and to love Him out of devotion. God calls His people to a place of rest, a place to call home, a place to join His family.

As I spend more time with God, I realized how wide and long and high and deep is his love for me.  Sometimes I couldn’t fathom the relationship that God offered me through Christ Jesus seems too good to be true.
I had the urge to get to know Him better, and had many questions. So we joined a church which we now call home. After attending church for awhile, the stories of Christmas and Easter took on new meaning for me. It was painful and hard to imagine what the Lord endured in order to set us free. One can put his or her life on the line to save others, but only Jesus could die in our place, securing eternal life for us. God loves us aside from what we have done. His unconditional love for us is like the love of a father for his child. God, our Heavenly Father sent His Word in flesh, Christ Jesus, so we can personally get to know Him.
Jesus is my home. He is my place of rest. He is my family. The bible, God’s word is filled with all kinds of stories, both good and horrifying. God reveals His power and purpose through these stories. They give us hope that God can use anything in our lives, even bad situations, to bring about good.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”(Romans 8:28)

( John 3:19-21 )
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

The love that I just received through the light, it gave me strength to approach the hike ahead. But this journey manifested as I was crawling on an enormous mountain in my dreams. I named this place a “Holy Mountain”. Why? Because God taught me many lessons on this climb. Let’s see together what God revealed to me.  I will meet you right here next time.

Climbing The Mountain!

God calls His people to a higher place – to a place of rest. The vision of climbing to this place, this mountain was a journey that it was about to begin. The vision lasted for a few years. It kept coming and going at the same pace as my daily life. I was moving toward a life that God had planned for me. He was taking my history and making it a beautiful destiny.

I saw myself standing on an enormous land. This vision was a glimpse of what was going to happen in real life as I was standing in exactly such a place in my life. The land was filled with beauty and goodness. Unfortunately it was also covered with patches of dark clouds and balls of fire scattered around, symbolizing the great amount of pain, brokenness and sin in the world.

I didn’t want to stay there. It was an intoxicating and uncomfortable place.
John Stonestreet said; “When things start bothering you it’s a good thing. Because change will happen.” It was time for a change and time to move on; it was all God’s timing. To have a faith is to wait on God’s timing.
I had the love of God, my family and dear friends. But there was so much missing in the world around me. True joy and peace weren’t there. It seemed as if everyone was pretending that they were happy. My heart was aching to watch others in so much agony. I wondered why they couldn’t see the everlasting joy available to heal their wounds, to overcome their turmoil, and replace it with true love and peace. I was more aware of the distractions of the world by then, trying to keep myself and those that I care about away from them. It is very hard to hold back and watch the suffering of those who reject help. One must leave it in God’s hand.

In addition to my concern for others, memories of the past, what I had heard and seen about the lives those around me were eating me up with the inside. When someone hurts us by their words or deeds, it bruises our spirit deeply sometimes.  This kind of bruise bleeds from the inside.  We try to hide our emotions and wounds and cover them with smile, or for some of us with food, busyness, jobs or other addictions.  But nothing is hidden from the love of God. Because “GOD IS LOVE!” He knows our wounds and how our bruises feel. He sees our hearts and our tears.

So why wouldn’t I take this journey up to the top. His word promised that His love will heal my bruises layer by layer and He wipes away every tears from my eyes.

( Revelation 21:4 )
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Remember I haven’t started climbing this huge mountain yet, I was still standing at the bottom of the mountain in my vision. Please be patient and stay with me. This particular vision was a long journey. You will get to see how I climbed this enormous height. Life is like a climb, but once we get to the top, we will have a different perspective with a beautiful view.

Come along with me to see when I was “Looking at the light, then I found love”.

See you next time!

A Moment of Epiphany

I learned if I wanted to get to know God, I needed to spend time with Him on a daily basis.
I began having a quiet time with Him each day and reading “The Purpose Driven Life”.
Then one day something amazing happened. I was halfway through the book when I had a flash of light with insight. A moment of epiphany. I realized that I finally found what I had been looking for.
Here was the most important piece of the puzzle – that I am loved unconditionally by the Creator of this world! I could tell Him all my pain, my faults and my confusion and He wouldn’t judge me. I am forgiven through Christ Jesus – the one who God has sent.
I said, “It is done!!!” And at that very moment my younger daughter, (then six years old) who had been playing with her toys, dropped everything and ran to me and leaned over with the same angelic eyes that I had seen in my dream ten years before and said, “Mommy, Mommy! God just came to my heart and said; ‘He is not done with me.’ What does it mean?” I put the book down and asked her to repeat it, because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. She said, “God said, ‘He is not done with me’. What does it mean Mommy?” I don’t remember how I answered her. She went back to her toys and I was in awe. God was talking to me. “He wasn’t done with me.” He heard me when I said, “It’s done!!!” He spoke to me! As the tears were falling, I got down on my knees and thanked Him, “Oh God, I am so glad that you are not done with me. I need you!”

God said: “I AM!” ( Exodus 3: 14 ) He is a living God. His love is infinite. He see all, He hears all, and He speaks. God is so very present in every breath we take.
When all this happened, my oldest daughter was exactly eleven years old and my second daughter (the one with angelic eyes) delivered God’s message to me. The dream that I had experienced ten years earlier was fulfilled. The message of God was delivered.
I was saved by the hand of grace – Jesus Christ, the anchor of my soul. My journey was just getting started. God was preparing the way all this time. I had to go through the dark places to understand that I am in need of light. I was no longer under the law, but under grace. Jesus came and took my hand and brought me into the light.
The emptiness within me was no longer there. How I could not believe in such a power and authority? It would be foolish of me to turn my back and ignore such a miracle. Once I was blind but now I started seeing things clearly. It was time to learn and gain knowledge, to stand firm and become who I was called to be. I was like a newborn baby who was eager to learn and was craving for pure spiritual food. I was so excited to start this new life.

The real life and new journey start now.
Stay tuned for the dream of “Climbing and Crawling a High Mountain!”

My Dream And Vision Became Reality!

God’s endless love and wisdom reach out to His people in different ways. God may appear to people from different religions and cultures in unique ways that will touch them deeply, move their hearts, and ultimately lead them toward God. He chooses at times to appear in dreams and visions, at other times through angels and His word. God puts dreams in our hearts and gives us faith to trust him enough to take Him at His word. We find ourselves taking a journey toward to the life that He has dreamed for us, the fulfillment of His purpose for our lives. This is how I came face to face with God through dreams and visions.

God is the reason I’m telling my story, He is the one who encourages me to write. He is the one who is writing with me. I am doing this as an act of obedience; to honor and glorify Him. I believe with confidence that God will use my story to reach and heal others.

After I offered my heart to God, I started having intense dreams and vivid visions. In one vision I was climbing and crawling up an incredibly high mountain. But before I tell you about climbing this mountain, I want to share one of the most important dreams of my life. This dream came to me many years ago, and changed my life forever. It was the beginning of my journey to the true light.

Dream of Light!

Prior to this dream that I’m about tell you, I was searching for purpose and meaning in my life. I needed to find the answers to the following questions:

* Why do I feel this emptiness inside with all the love that surrounds me?
* Why am I longing for unconditional love, which I can’t seem to find anywhere?
* Is there such a thing as an unconditional love? And if there is, would I be able to receive or give a love that is not self-seeking?

Let’s go back a few years. First year of College I met a beautiful, godly lady barbara Harper with silver hair shiny face and a big smile which brighten the room. She was about a 60 years old, who was a missionary, visiting students around the college campus. She was sitting a cross from me at the cafeteria table. We talked. I was surprised that she was so interested to get to know me. We became friends. In the second semester I was looking for a place to live near by school, she let me to live with her for free until I found a place. As I got to know her, she added another question to my list of my questions. Which was “WHO IS JESUS?” I guess She planted the first seed in my heart just by being her self and living for God. She never invited me to convert but definitely sowed the seed. The struggle of finding the truth and filling the hole in my heart continued.

When my first daughter was a year and half old, I had a dream that I gave birth to an eleven-year-old girl. She was beautiful with big, angelic greenish-bluish eyes. At first I took a step back in shock. Then very quickly I became excited. I said to her, “Let me show you the world”. But she said, “No Mommy, the place where I came from is much prettier than here. Jesus sent me to help you.” Then I woke up and thought to myself, “Wow!” That “Wow” soon led to fear. I began to wonder and worry what would happen to our daughter when she turned eleven.

The Heaven Was Quiet!

I didn’t yet know that the emptiness I felt within would someday be filled with a bigger power. I wondered, if Jesus sent a dream of an eleven-year-old girl to help me, why was He not helping me now? I wanted to know what I could do to change my way of thinking. I would wait another ten years before knowing the answer. The heaven was very quiet for awhile.
Life went on and we had a second daughter who was born with those angelic greenish-bluish eyes. I began to notice that God was not so quiet anymore. The struggle of finding the true light stirred within me.

We were one of those people who went to Church only on Easter and Christmas at our kids school ( private school ). Sometimes I over heard the Christian parents at school that God talks to them and they get goosebumps when they feel his presence.
At one of the Christmas service I started crying. Asking God, how come I don’t hear you? how come I don’t get the goosebumps that they do? Why don’t you come to my heart? Show me who you are! Life can’t be just all this. How come you don’t answer my prayers. That was it! I didn’t think that God would answer my bold prayer.

I shared some of my struggles with a couple of dear friends. I wanted to know why there is so much animosity, jealousy, anger, dishonesty, lust and fear in the world. One of these dear friends offered me a book called “The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?” by Rick Warren. She said she had just read it and thought it was a great book. So I borrowed the book and began to read. It wasn’t a self-help book. It was pointing to the light that I had been searching for. This book was saying exactly what I needed to hear.

In “The Purpose Driven Life”, Rick Warren said, “Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God.” So I started reading God’s word along with this book. It opened the eyes of my heart. Everything started making sense.

Stay tuned for the “moment of epiphany”, as the dream of eleven-year-old girl will be fulfilled.
