In The Eye of a Life Storm!

Are you prepared when the storms of life approach? Do you listen to your FEAR or to your FAITH?

When we come face to face with a painful or hopeless situation with an uncertain outcome, our initial reaction may be tied to many emotions — fear, worry, frustration, confusion, or anger. We may question [why?].

In most cases, storms include rain. Without rain nothing grows. Metaphorically speaking, the rain of life can have the same effect, cleansing away the miry clay of life which may be impairing our growth. So it’s wise to embrace the storm, trusting God for a beneficial outcome according to His rich promises.

There is no point in running away from the turmoil of life, because difficulty is often a spark for growth.  The life we live is not only ours alone. We are a part of the lives of everyone in our circle of friends, family and community.  Whether we like it or not, we make each other’s lives complete.  Embracing the struggles of our circle will help us to grow and learn together.  Humbly allowing God to navigate our experiences will surely produce a peaceful, less troubled life.

Sometimes listening to your faith may feel foolish, as if you’re looking for a quick fix.  But if you take a moment to quietly ask God to shed his  LIGHT into your dark thoughts or circumstances, He promises to help you find  your way through unbearable circumstances — you can entrust the heart of your faith into His loving hands.

God called us to pray and carry each other through times of trouble, reminding one another of His word; [Isaiah 41:10], ”So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

[Hebrews 13:5]

God’s presence overcomes our fear, worry, and dissatisfaction.

[Romans 8:31]

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”

Based on God’s word, let us be bold, prayerful and fearless. He is with us and provides each breath that we take. For that reason alone, let us pour out our praise.   Amen!
